Schlok's was planning on expanding to a second location and began looking closely at digital ordering providers that would help as they grew their footprint. Solution
Schlok's decided to launch a branded mobile app, new online ordering experience, loyalty program, AI marketing assistant, and AI support agent with Open.
Using Schlok's branded mobile app, customers can now order direct while still getting critical functionality like real-time driver tracking, popular item recommendations, reordering, device payments, and in-app chat support. With Open, Schlok's also launched their first ever loyalty program to allow customers to get benefits while ordering direct. Their loyalty system works both in-store and online to give customers a great experience regardless of how they order. The Schlok's mobile app allows customers to simply scan a QR code to earn loyalty points for in-store orders.
Open's partnership with Stripe allowed Schloks to achieve record high credit card approval rates, which improves the customer experience by reducing the times that a valid credit card gets declined. Open's chargeback protection also ensures that Schlok's doesn't have costly fees when chargebacks inevitably happen.
The Open support agent that Schlok's deployed provides best in class mobile and web online support without taking up any resources from the in-store staff, allowing them to free up time to focus on great food and hospitality for their walk in guests.
